I think the unique thing about me was that I was able to have a first hand experience of what is like to be in a positive community. I admit that I was a bit of a problem child during elementary school and I didn't really know how to control my emotions, but through the inclusion and kindness from the students and teachers of Linfield, I was able to grow and be guided towards the path of success. I think the things that I am going to remember most from Linfield will be hanging out with friends and teachers during lunch, riding on the bus with the football team after winning a game, or playing in the band and experiencing the beauty and magic of music that we were able to create. I think I will especially miss all the people who have molded and shaped me into the man I am today, and will always be grateful for being part of Linfield. As I head off to my next chapter in my life, I am reminded by this bible verse, Hebrews 10:24-25: “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near”
